The fine print
I have read and agree to the Terms

The most-told lie on the internet
ends here.

~1HR PER TOOL
You'll know exactly what you agreed to

Their terms take an hour to read and can change without notice. We read every line, every version, so when you tick the box, you're the rare person who actually knows what's in it.

THEY WROTE
"We never sell your data."
THEIR SITE DID
-> sent your email to an ad network
≠ DISAGREE . 02 AUG
You'll see what they hoped you wouldn't

They wrote "we never sell your data." Their site sent your email to an ad network. We watched it happen. You see both, with the date.

ALWAYS ON
Nothing changes without you knowing

Sign up and get on with your work. We stay on watch. The day their terms move or a new tracker shows up, you hear about it first.

Held on every scan

We stand for something.

1
No tool ever pays us. Only the people we protect.

Everything here runs on money from people like you, never from a company we check. That rule is religion around here. It has no exceptions and no price.

2
We show you what we found. Never what to think.

Nobody can honestly tell you a tool is safe. It depends on your work and what you'd be sharing with it. That's why we hand you the facts, and the call stays yours.

3
If we can't prove it, we don't print it.

And if we're not sure, we tell you we're not sure. Guessing with your safety isn't our job.

4
We keep watching your tools.

Terms change, breaches happen, data quietly starts moving somewhere new. Whatever it is, on any tool you use, you'll hear it from us before you feel it.

A note from the person building this

Hey, I'm Abi.

Tools used to be simple wins. You'd find a good one and it helped you do something that mattered in your work. That was the whole deal.

Now anyone can build one. A weekend, a demo, a payment page. Security comes later, if it comes at all. Your files end up behind a door with a cheap lock, and nobody tells you until it's already open.

And most of these tools won't exist in two years. Your files will still be sitting in their database when the company gets sold, and nobody is going to ask you first. Quick check: how many tools have your card right now? How many have your files? Could you even list them?

I won't tell you a tool is safe. I can't. Nobody can. Safe is not a yes or a no. It's a hundred small facts about what a company does with your files.

So I made a label instead.

We read every line they publish and check the breach records against sources we trust. Then we watch what the tool actually does when you visit: what it takes, who it calls. We hold that next to what they promised. Match or not, it goes on the label.

Then you decide. That's the whole idea.

One rule will never change:

No tool ever pays us. Only the people we protect.

If a label saves you from something, or we get one wrong, email me. I read everything and I answer.

Six seconds of reading beats six months of regret.
